Haystack Homestead is a North Carolina–based mobile farm experience that brings custom traveling petting zoos, animal encounters, pony rides, and hands-on farm education directly to events and venues. We specialize in creating authentic, educational, and memorable farm experiences for festivals, towns, schools, colleges, churches, corporate events, and private celebrations throughout North Carolina and surrounding areas.

Haystack Homestead is not a walk-in farm or homestead blog. We are a fully mobile service, meaning our animals and team travel to the client’s location to provide safe, engaging, and professionally managed farm experiences tailored to each event.

At Haystack Homestead we’re more than just a farm — we’re also founded and support a sanctuary dedicated to animal care, education, and community. ​​ By booking Haystack Homestead Traveling Farm Experiences, you’re supporting a local, women-owned & operated farm business that dedicates much of its profits to funding Serendipity Sanctuary, a North Carolina non-profit and registered 501(c)(3). Founded by Michele - inspired and co-managed by her daughter Elysian (Mimi), Haystack Homestead is both a farm and a mission, committed to providing lifelong farm animal care and unforgettable, convenient, farm animal education and experiences for our community and beyond.
