Haystack Homestead Mobile Farm Experiences is a North Carolina based mobile farm service offering mobile farm petting zoos, pony rides, & custom farm experiences for events of all kinds and sizes.
Our team will work closely with you to customize a mobile farm experience to suit your event's theme and size. Whether it's a small intimate gathering or a large-scale cirtywide event, we are here to make it magically memorable.
The Pony Ride Experience Includes:

Duration: 45 minutes of pony or unicorn riding fun.

Handlers: Two experienced 'pony wranglers' to lead the pony rides, interact with guests, answer questions, assist with mounting and dismounting children, and help with equestrian riding helmets (provided by us)..
🛻 Transportation up to 100 round trip miles is complimentary. (Longer distances the travel fee is $1.85/mile per additional round trip mile. )
*Please Note: Pony rides are for chldren who are: Under 100lbs | 5' tall
AND between the ages of 2yo - 13yo

We look forward to welcoming pony rides back once the current EHV-1 outbreak has fully resolved and it is safe to do so.
Party Pony & Unicorn Ride Pricing
Party Pony Rides – $275
Unicorn Pony Rides – $295
Each pony ride session lasts 45 minutes and can accommodate up to 30 children.
Fewer children allow for longer individual ride time and, as time permits, possible second rides.
Pony Rides as an Add-On Experience
Pony rides may be added to our Mobile Farm experiences for prices starting at $215 per session.
Add-on pricing varies based on the Mobile Farm package selected, event size, and overall booking details.
Add-on pricing reflects the efficiencies of combining services during a single visit.
Temporary Pony Ride Pause – Animal Health Update
Due to a recent Equine Herpesvirus (EHV-1) outbreak in our area, pony rides are temporarily unavailable to protect the health of our horses and the broader community.
Our full traveling petting zoo experiences continue as scheduled, with alpacas, bunnies, goats, sheep, and more. We’re happy to design an engaging animal experience for your event—just without equines at this time.
We anticipate reopening pony rides in late April, once it is safe to do so.
At that time, pony ride bookings will resume based on availability.

Cancellation Policy: At Haystack Homestead, the safety of our clients and animals is our top priority. While we do not offer refunds, events cancelled due to inclement weather can be rescheduled within a 6-month period at no additional cost. We will work with you to find a mutually convenient time to ensure your event is safe and delightfully memorable.
