Serendipity Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) farm animal sanctuary providing lifelong care to animals who need a permanent home.
Some arrive because they are no longer useful.
Many had owners who were no longer able to care for them.
Most simply needed a different ending to their story.
Here, they are not sold or passed along.
They are home - for life.
Serendipity Sanctuary's Relationship to Haystack Homestead
Serendipity Sanctuary and Haystack Homestead are closely connected.
Haystack Homestead focuses on education, connection, and fostering compassion through thoughtfully designed and presented animal experiences. -- Serendipity Sanctuary exists solely to provide lifelong care.
Many sanctuary animals participate in these educational visits because they genuinely enjoy the interaction, enrichment, and attention. Their participation is always guided by temperament and comfort, never obligation.
Proceeds from Haystack Homestead directly support the sanctuary’s daily operations — feed, veterinary care, shelter, and long-term needs.
Animal well-being always comes first.
