Professional Setup for Seamless Events
At Haystack Homestead, every event is designed to run smoothly, safely, and professionally. Guests interact with and feed the animals from outside the corral, giving them a hands-on experience while keeping everyone safe. Our animals are extremely well socialized and eagerly approach visitors, creating joyful, memorable interactions for people of all ages — from toddlers in their parents’ arms to seniors.
We construct a durable metal livestock corral at every event, designed to be secure, safe, and visually organized. The corral is expandable, either by adding additional panels or by constructing multiple corrals for larger events. This allows us to comfortably accommodate events of any size, giving guests ample space to gather around the perimeter and enjoy the animals.
Our team is experienced in handling logistics for a wide variety of venues and surfaces. Whether your event takes place on grass or a hard surface, we bring all the necessary equipment — including patio mats for hard surfaces — to ensure the animals are comfortable and guests have a smooth experience.
For events lasting more than 3–4 hours, depending on the heat index, we coordinate an additional water source to ensure the animals remain well hydrated and happy throughout the day.

Our family has been keeping and working with farm animals and providing animal rescue through our nonprofit sanctuary for more than ten years. Haystack Homestead Traveling Farm Experiences has proudly served communities, organizations, and event planners for nearly four years, offering thoughtfully designed animal experiences for public events of all sizes.
We are fully insured through a highly rated provider and are accustomed to working with cities, towns, festivals, country clubs, corporate teams, churches, and community organizations. From initial planning through event day execution, we focus on clear communication, organized setups, and a calm, well-managed guest experience.
Every event is staffed for success. We always have at least two experienced team members on-site for the duration of the event, actively managing animal interactions, guest flow, and safety. Our pony rides are led by experienced handlers and sidewalkers, and parents are always welcome to walk alongside their child — joining our trained sidewalker, not replacing them — for added comfort and peace of mind.
Our animals are exceptionally well-socialized and cared for, and our professionally constructed corrals and thoughtfully planned layouts are designed to handle high guest volume while keeping both guests and animals safe and relaxed.
