Aspen says Happy Fall Y'all ... and Thank You Hanes Family!!

We had such a fun day bringing our Farm Corral Petting Zoo to celebrate with the Hanes Brands family again this year! It’s always one of our favorite events of the season, and somehow it gets even better every time.

This was Sheldon's first petting zoo - but the Hanes Family had him eating out of their hands!!

The Hanes Brands family is just wonderful — warm, welcoming, and genuinely interested in every one of our animals. We love sharing their stories and personalities, and it always feels more like visiting old friends than setting up for an event.

This event was for the benefit of Hanes Brands employees - but they are all so much fun and so kind that the Haystack Homestead Traveling Farm family enjoyed it as much as they did!

This year they went all out with hayrides and a pumpkin patch, and then — in true Hanes spirit — invited us to take home the leftover pumpkins for our “pasture family.” Our goats, sheep, cows, and pigs have been having an absolute pumpkin party ever since! 🎃🐷🐑

We and all of our pasture residents are very grateful for the pumpkin feast!

We’re so grateful to everyone at Hanes Brands for their kindness and hospitality. Thank you for another wonderful day filled with smiles and laughter — we’re already looking forward to next year!
